Impact Awards
FCEI International has recognized individuals who have made truly exceptional contributions to the field of family-centered early intervention. In the spirit of this accomplishment, FCEI International would like to increase awareness of individuals and/or endeavors that deserve recognition for the positive FCEI IMPACT on the field. Nominations are invited from 1 April to 1 May 2026. Please indicate “Nomination for FCEI IMPACT” in the subject line and email to fcei@bblinz.at for consideration. Nominations in written English or International Sign must include:
- Candidate’s name, title, (email, phone number, physical address) and their/the affiliated organization, if relevant (including website, email, and physical address)
- Demographic information: Parent, Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing, Professional, Researcher
- Description of the nominee, their impact to an identified community, and relevance to family-centered early intervention (500-word limit)
- At least three references/letters of support beyond the individual nominating (each with 500-word limit)
- Contact information of the individual who is nominating (email, phone number, physical address, and affiliated organization, if any)

Nominations will be reviewed and selected by representatives of FCEI Advisory and Executive groups. Winners of FCEI IMPACT recognition will be announced during the Networking Dinner on Thursday night 11 June 2026 of the Kongress.
Recognizing FCEI IMPACT will provide more opportunities to shine light on the remarkable work being done in the field, even as FCEI Lifetime Achievement Awards will continue whenever appropriate.
