Translation and Assistive Technologies

Our goal, as in previous years, is to make FCEI Congress as barrier-free as possible. The official language of this event is English. International Sign and English Speech to text interpreting will be provided throughout the entire congress.  

Austrian Sign Language ÖGS will be provided upon request. We kindly request that you inform us of your requirements at least 3 months prior to the congress.

English Speech-to-text reporting

will be provided remote by Wordly AI throughout the whole conference.  

International Sign

will be available at the pre-conference as requested in advance when registering for the conference. International sign interpreting will be offered throughout the whole main conference and breakout sessions.

Austrian Sign Language ÖGS

will be available at the pre-conference as requested in advance when registering for the conference. All keynote presentations throughout the main conference will be translated into Austrian Sign Language, as well three slots of the breakout sessions. Interpreting from and into Austrian Sign Language is  sponsored by the Upper Austrian Department of Social Affairs.

All Seminar Rooms as well as the Theatre Hall will be equipped with roger device systems (sponsored by Bagus) and induction loops.
