The 3rd International Conference on Family Centred Early Intervention for Children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

"For Every Child and Family : Sharing Research, Global Picture Perspectives and Evidence-Based Practice from Around the World"

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 3rd International Conference on Family-Centred Early Intervention for Children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, to be held once again in the charming and historic spa town of Bad Ischl near Salzburg in Austria from June 15th to 17th, 2016.

The Congress represents a unique global partnership between parents and professionals, both hearing and deaf or hard of hearing. The theme of the 2016 conference is "For Every Child and Family", in recognition of the diversity of deaf and hard of hearing children, their individual needs and those of their families, the contexts in which they live and grow, and the variety of services they experience.

Through a combination of keynote addresses, break-out sessions, poster presentations and specialised pre-conference workshops, FCEI 2016 will focus on sharing a wealth of current and recent research and evidence-informed practice in the field of Early Intervention. Whether you are a parent or family member, a teacher, a deaf role model, a clinician, a family support worker, a parent advocate, a program administrator, or an academic researcher, this conference will extend your knowledge and deepen your understanding of what it means to be family-centred and quality-assured in early intervention practice. It will also provide an excellent opportunity for networking, both professionally and socially, in a truly international, multi-disciplinary context.

Please join us - we look forward to welcoming you in Bad Ischl.

Warmest wishes
